Painting of a Little League Baseball Boy

painting of little league baseball boy

After seeing some of my artwork a family in Southern California asked if I would do a painting for them. They were specially interested in having a painting done of their son at one of his Little League baseball games. The boy’s mother sent me a variety of photos to work from and explained that a back view, showing the player’s surname and number, was the most significant to the family. The boy’s father also played baseball and wore the same number on his jersey. Father and son were very proud of that fact and mom knew both her baseball boys would love to see it captured in a painting. (For this web version of the painting seen above I changed the name on the jersey, number, some uniform colors etc so I could better use the artwork myself.)

The family was very pleased with their painting and about a month or so later they contacted me again to do another special baseball painting for them.

I love doing little league baseball art, and hockey paintings too, so I feel very fortunate when those requests come in! If you’ve ever thought of getting a painting done, for yourself or as a most special personalized gift for someone else, I would love to hear from you! Contact me today.
