Painting of Little Boy Ice Fishing

This winter I did a little series of paintings for use as Christmas cards and art prints. The Little Boy Ice Fishing painting depicts a common winter scene around here and was one of the more popular paintings this year. I painted it in watercolor and gouache paint. This is the style of painting I’d like to use for the book illustrations, though the illustrations will be done with a bit more simplicity.
