Today I made a birthday card for my friend Sam in Maine. He just turned four so I wanted to give him something to celebrate that special number. My toy tractor has four wheels so I thought that was a good choice. A farm boy like Sam will probably like getting a John Deere tractor birthday card! He spends a lot of time helping his family on his farm so I’m sure he knows a lot about tractors of all sizes.
It’s lucky that Sam picked this week to turn four. It has been thawing and raining a lot so I can’t spend all my time playing outside, tobogganing or skating on the pond. It’s the perfect time to be indoors painting birthday cards for friends.
